When he’s not in the office, Dr. Cain loves traveling, spending time outdoors, and discovering new adventures.

Donald P. LeMelle

Board Certified Surgeon, DPM

With over 38 years of experience, Associates in Podiatry has been proudly serving the Dayton area with compassionate, expert foot and ankle care. Led by Dr. LeMelle, a board-certified podiatric surgeon, our practice is dedicated to providing the highest quality of care with a personal touch.

Dr. LeMelle earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from Kent State College of Podiatric Medicine, where he developed a deep passion for helping people stay mobile and pain-free. As a former collegiate wrestler, he understands the physical demands athletes face and brings that perspective into his care—especially when treating sports-related injuries.

Outside of the office, Dr. LeMelle enjoys biking, hiking, and traveling with his wife. His active lifestyle fuels his commitment to helping patients stay on their feet and doing what they love. He believes in building strong, trusting relationships with each individual he treats and always takes the time to listen and create a care plan tailored to their goals.

Dr. Joseph Kerr

Board Certified Surgeon, DPM

I am from Michigan (don’t hold that against me). I was brought up with my sisters. I attended Ava Maria College in Florida where I met my beautiful wife. I graduated from Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine with honors in 2021. Upon graduation I accepted a position with Associates in Podiatry with Dr. Cain and Dr. LeMelle. My family and I moved here and reside in Bellbrook. We have seven children, four boys and three girls. We have come to love it here. Everyone has welcomed us with open arms. In my free time I like to run and last year completed a 50 mile run.
I perform surgeries at Miami Valley South and Soin Medical Center, Springfield Regional Medical Center, as well as, Ohio Valley Surgical Hospital in Springfield. I have office hours in Beavercreek and Springfield besides spending two afternoons each week in a wound care setting.

Dr. Morgan Simpson

Welcome Dr. Morgan Simpson to Our Practice!

We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Morgan Simpson,DPM, to our practice! Dr. Simpson recently completed a 3-year foot & ankle surgery residency at United Health Services Hospital where she trained in both conservative and surgical care of foot and ankle conditions.

Dr. Simpson has a special interest in, diabetic foot care, bunion correction, wound management, etc. and is passionate about helping patients stay active, mobile, and pain-free.

When she isn’t caring for patients, Dr. Simpson enjoys spending time with her husband and two dogs, as well as exploring new hiking trails.
